Am I a dramatic voice and should I apply?
The program will accept artists at different stages of development and cast them accordingly. The program is oriented towards larger voices. STRAUSS' ELEKTRA is an ensemble piece which allows for casting of younger dramatic, spinto and full lyric voices, introducing them to the process of learning and performing a Strauss role without the strain of a lengthy score for each individual character. © Photos property of Dramatic Voices Program Berlin

How many casts of WAGNER'S Die Walküre will be there?
Our production will be double cast, which is extremely rare for this type of program. Some roles may have up to four people cast between main and cover casts. Usually, this is done if the role is too demanding to sing several nights in a row and/or is shared by younger artists with less stage experience. Each cast will get ample musical and staging rehearsal time, plus individual musical and language coachings. The cover cast will also get substantial rehearsal time as well as coachings. © Photos property of Dramatic Voices Program Berlin
